It’s been over a year since The Worst has played in their home city of Portland. Saturday,  November 23 will be a special, somewhat rare treat for their local fans when they take the stage at the The Apohadion Theater. The members of the band have each had their own personal journeys over the last couple of years that have kept them from performing together since their debut album Jane Dow Embryo tour.

Lead singer/ guitarist Brooke Binion described this show as their way of coming together to show their love and support for all the people here who showed them the same during their setbacks. She says they are excited and ready to go out on Saturday night and, “Really fucking go for it”.

“The fact that Ben and Will stuck by me shows who we are as a group,” Brooke said about what this show means to her.

It’s sure to be a loud, passionate and rowdy performance in the intimate confines of the Apohadion Theatre. Brooke will be playing with an injured finger on her left hand, which she suffered after a dog bite, so it will be interesting to see how she battles through that. I can’t think of a more punk rock thing that playing through pain, discomfort and the possibility of blood. Friends and fans will be in for a one of a kind, unique experience as these three belt out all their turmoil and personal triumphs.
