Bait Bag Music Video Premier

Modern-day riot grrrls Bait Bag have released their first music video for “Tear Me in Two,” from the May 2019 EP Tell Them You're Women. Filmed on Hi-8 in the abandoned forts and tunnels on an island in Casco Bay, the video explores the idea of birth as consensual body horror.

The video was directed and conceived by the band members, Claire Donnelly, Courtney Naliboff and Fiona Robins, filmed by Becky Chase, produced by The Artist Mitchell, and edited by Donnelly. The all-female team experienced joyful catharsis through the filming process, and hope to spark truthful conversations about the physical trauma associated with childbearing.
